Reach All
02:13
|

reach all for what?
reach all for who?
who is this woman that i reach out to?
well, I'm boring the crowd but am i boring you?
reach all for something
reach all the time
you're either coy like me or I'm not your kind
well, kindness has it's drawbacks
yes, kindness can kill to
reach all the station
reach all i can
well, I wonder if I'll perform this song as planned
I'm short on courage but the odds say that I'm due
reach and be lucky
reach and be wrong
but you wear the diamond and I'm not that strong
my face has changed but could I be wrong

She's Been Away

I can't remember said she
for a lack of willingness ran thru to her doubt
calmly fingering for a trace of history
that previous partners had long thrown out
can't recall my anger, can't recall my shame
she's been away so long, she can't even call out my name
where do I go, what do I do
when I do these things that I do to you
I know I know, but didn't know I knew
I was fined when I hadn't a clue

Cancer Eye

what do you do when the world is you and the caution installed poses the question who
the petty involved proclaim the trite to be new and the almighty dissolve in what we trust to be true
I know what you think that all smiles are charades and even kisses are coy when the premise fades
but while you reconsider the past that invades the door swings open upon the tracks that you've laid
hear believe near leave
who do you want when the world is you, one can't resolve when one can't move
at what cost does one set the date, in search for love inspired by hate
I've got myself on a hell of a hill and if you don't laugh I've got a hole to fill
what i don't know I thought to be still, but if you don't do it, then you know I will
whether it comes down to god or satan
the topic at hand there is no point in relatin'
and all the words thrown in and all the words thrown out
baby, believe me in my mind there is no doubt
cancer eye

Michael Var Fickle Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Thought to be in the grave for many years, Michael Var Fickle returns with "The Clavicle Gate". The story of his death revolved around a light from the night sky, a carnival and a box of 44 fish-sticks. Actually.......that isn't true, but it sure sounds a lot better than the story I heard. Hopefully he makes another album before he really does meet the grave. ... more
